ARRAffinity Strictly Necessary Session Routes the request made through a web browser to the same machine in the DXC cloud environment. This cookie is deleted when you close your browser.  This helps your computer stay logged in while browsing the website.
ASP.NET_SessionId Strictly Necessary Session Required to identify requests from the same browser during a limited session time window when browsing the website. This cookie is deleted when you close your browser.  This is how we maintain your cart items and/or login details when browsing multiple pages on the website.
Cfuid Strictly Necessary Persistent (1 year from creation) Speeds up page loading times and overrides any security restrictions that may be applied to a browser based on the IP address from which it comes.   Identifies an individual user using a shared network so the entire network is not blocked if one user is performing insecure actions.
.EPiForm_BID Functionality Persistent (90 days from creation) Identifies the form submission made to the site when a visitor submits data to the site  via an Episerver form.  This allows the system to identify when a user submits a form multiple time for security reasons to ensure it is a valid submission.
.EPiForm_VisitorIdentifier Functionality Persistent (90 days from creation) Identifies the form submission mase to the site when a visitor submits data to the site via an Episerver form. This allows the system to identify when a user submits a form multiple time for security reasons to ensure it is a valid submission.
EPiForm_{xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxx}:{xxxxx} Functionality Persistent (90 days from creation) Stores partial form submissions so that a user can continue with a form submission upon return. (The xs are replaced by a unique identifier.)
EPI-MAR-{xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxx:xx} Analytical/performance Persistent (variable according to the test). Typically optimization tests are short-lived (such as one week). Record a visitor's interaction with a website optimization test that is running to ensure that a user has a consistent experience. The cookie is removed after the test has completed.  This is used during testing to make sure you always see a single version of the website.
EPi:NumberOfVisits Functionality Persistent (1 year from creation) Stores the number of times you access pages on the site to allow personalization of content based on the frequency the site content is viewed.
.EPiServerLogin, EPiDPCKEY, .ASPXRoles Strictly Necessary Session Allow login / access and permissions when using the CMS interface  We can most likely remove this as it only applies to administrative users.
epiXSRF Strictly Necessary Session Protects the user against cross-site request forgery (XSRF). It is used only by the CMS UI We can most likely remove this as it only applies to administrative users.
madid Functionality Persistent (1 year from creation) Provides a unique guid for users, for Profile Store tracking.  This is used to personalize your experience throughout the website and email marketing campaigns.
mai_trk_{connectorId}_{instanceID} Functionality Persistent (1 year from creation) Identifies current visitor for form auto-fill purposes. Connector-related personalization is through visitor groups

ANALYTIC TOOLS

On this website the web analytics tool Google Analytics is used to get an overall picture of how visitors use the site.
